Booking Terms and Conditions
- Introduction
The Wellness Nomad is a platform that connects clients with independent wellness professionals .
By booking any service through our website, application, messaging platforms or partner links, you (“Client”) agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
TWN is not the employer of the Professionals. Each Professional operates as an independent contractor and is solely responsible for the services they provide, their conduct, their compliance with UK law (or international regulations for online sessions), and their own insurance.

- Nature of the Services
TWN offers two categories of services:
A. In-Person Services (within the United Kingdom)
Examples include massage therapy, holistic treatments, private chef services, decluttering, facials, workshops and corporate events.
B. Online Services (UK-based or International Professionals)
Examples include yoga, meditation, breathwork, coaching, energy sessions, astrology, tarot, nutrition and educational classes.
For online services delivered by professionals outside the UK, clients acknowledge that the laws of the professional’s jurisdiction may also apply.

- Booking, Payment and Fees
• Bookings are confirmed only after full payment has been received.
• TWN may charge a service fee or commission, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
• Prices shown include applicable fees unless specified otherwise.
• In-person bookings may require an additional travel fee, disclosed before confirmation.
TWN is not responsible for bank charges, currency conversions or payment-processing fees.

- Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
Client Cancellations
• More than 24 hours in advance: full refund or credit.
• Less than 24 hours in advance: non-refundable.
• No-show: full amount is charged.
Professional Cancellations
If a Professional needs to cancel:
• Client may choose a full refund, reschedule, or receive credit.
• TWN is not liable for additional costs such as transport, childcare, schedule loss, or other indirect consequences.

- Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
• Provide accurate health information, allergies or contraindications.
• Ensure the environment for in-person sessions is clean, safe and accessible.
• Behave respectfully and appropriately towards the Professional.
• Follow pre-session guidance when applicable (e.g. clothing, equipment, space requirements for online classes).
TWN reserves the right to deny services to clients who violate safety or conduct policies.

- Professional Responsibilities
Professionals agree to:
• Maintain valid Public Liability Insurance for in-person services in the UK.
• Ensure qualifications are up-to-date and legally recognised in their jurisdiction.
• Provide accurate service descriptions and disclose any contraindications.
• Comply with health, safety and wellbeing standards.
• Notify TWN promptly in case of illness, emergencies or changes affecting their availability.

- Liability & Disclaimer
• TWN acts solely as a booking intermediary, not the provider of the service.
• TWN is not liable for accidents, injuries, adverse reactions, dissatisfaction with a service, or any damages arising from the Professional’s actions or omissions.
• TWN is not responsible for personal items lost or damaged during sessions.
• Results of wellness practices are subjective and cannot be guaranteed.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
• death or personal injury caused by negligence,
• fraud,
• or any rights protected under UK consumer law.

- Code of Conduct (Clients & Professionals)
Both parties agree to maintain a respectful, safe and professional environment.
Prohibited behaviours include:
• harassment (verbal, physical or sexual),
• discriminatory conduct of any kind,
• illegal activities,
• inappropriate requests or behaviour.
TWN may suspend or permanently remove individuals who breach these policies.

- Online Sessions & Digital Content
• Recording of sessions is strictly prohibited unless all parties provide explicit written consent.
• Any authorised recordings or materials remain the intellectual property of TWN or the Professional.
• Sharing, copying, distributing or reselling content without permission is forbidden.

- Privacy, Data Protection & Confidentiality
• TWN complies with UK GDPR.
• Personal data is processed only for booking management, safety, legal compliance and customer support.
• Health-related information shared with Professionals is confidential and used solely for service suitability.

- Force Majeure
TWN and Professionals will not be held liable for delays, cancellations or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including illness, accidents, public transport disruption, power outages, severe weather or technical failures affecting online sessions.

- Changes to These Terms
TWN may amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website, and continued use of the booking system constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

- Governing Law
For in-person services delivered in the UK, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
For international online services, the governing law may include:
• the jurisdiction where the professional is based, and/or
• the jurisdiction where the client accesses the service.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by consumer protection legislation.
